Swine Flu Emergency Food Supplies

Medical experts watching the Swine Flu tell us that once the flu is detected in an area, the entire community can be QUARANTINED for 6 to 12 weeks, the normal time for the Swine Flu to run its course, IF no further outbreaks are detected.

The “Swine 90 DAY FOOD SUPPLY” unit is compact enough to fit under most large beds, or stow in a large closet. It’s ideal for homes, apartments, businesses, emergency operation centers, etc.

Swine Flu Emergency Readiness Kit

Being prepared for all types of emergencies should be a priority for everyone in the U.S. With more threats than ever before, we know that any number of events can be right around the corner. But lately its completely understandable that many of us probably have our mind on economic worries at the very least. But knowing what we do know about the swine Flu break out, it might be a good time for us to consider investing in our own safety just in case.

As of now there are over 1,000 deaths in the country of Mexico. Granted we are not Mexico, and we do have an outstanding heads up on the current situation, that doesnt mean that we shouldnt take precaution anyways.

But a bigger point can be made – We should be ready for any other crisis that could happen, even if the Swine Flu stays contained.

Swine Flu preparation should be just one state of preparation we should be concerned with. I would say that this Swine Flu problem should be at the least, a wake up call. Preparing for this could end up saving us in the future. If we take action now, and nothing too serious comes of the Swine Flu virus, than we will still be prepared for any future occurences that could happen.

But just because we have caught this virus earlier than Mexico, doesnt mean its going to be O.K. Honestly, we are right nesxt door to the country, and we havnt done a great job of keeping Mexican immigrants out of our country in the past. And it only takes 1 unknowing victim to spread the Swine Flu virus to a large group of unsuspecting colleagues , classmates, or total strangers in a supermarket.

I am definitely not trying to be someone that tries to scare people, but whenever a society takes something like this too lightly , things can spiral out of control in the blink of an eye. It is our responsibility to take stock of situations like these and make honest assesments.

In the coming weeks we will know for sure if the Swine Flu will become epidemic, pandemic, or nothing more than a slight outbreak. I hope that its the latter. But I really hope that we are all prepared for anything and everything.

I don’t know what to think of this one, guys. INTRODUCING DARREN URMEY AS DARREN URMEY.

Help answer the question about swine flu

swine flu?!?!?>!!>!?!?!?!??!!?
okay so ive heard about the swine flu in mexico b4, but today at school we got notices and like warnings about the "pandemic" saying that we have to be careful because its in the bay area in south CA where our community lives. so, im probably overreacting and stuffs, but does that mean its going to spread between hundreds of people and everything!?!?!? I am really freaking out because people in downtown SJ have been heard to have it which is only 20 mins away from our community. Is it true that there's no cure and that teenagers can easily die from it?!?!

gosh now i really regret watching I AM LEGEND lol!
all answers and information are greatly appreciated! (:

the CDC has reported 91 cases in the United States. According to WHO, there have been 10 deaths worldwide because of the Swine Flu, and only 1 person here at home in the US.

Is this reason to panic? Not one bit.
The regular flu kills somewhere around 175 people each and every day.
This results in over 63,000 per year.

There is no cure for the common flu.
We have vaccines, and natural immunities, but no cure.

The problem with the Swine Flu, is that we have no vaccines, and seeing as how we've never encountered it, we have no natural immunity to the virus.

Experts say that the Swine Flu is no worse than the regular flu, and it isn't to be compared to the black plague, or anything of the sort (like many news stations are trying to pretend it is).

So why is the media making this such a big deal?
Why is the media making such a point to bring it up?

Because that means that you'll watch their station, read their article, listen to their podcast, etc.

That's how they make money, kids.
Welcome to the economy. :)

Anyway, this thing really isn't a big deal. If you get it, go to the doctor, just to be safe. Experts say that your immune system should be able to fight it off without any antibiotics (just like the regular flu), but that you should go to the doctor anyway.

This isn't a big deal.

Bottom line:

The Swine Flu is just a different type of flu, but that's still all it is.. The flu. Nothing more, nothing less. The flu has the capability to kill people (usually young children, and the elderly), but it barely affects us. Even if somebody at your school did have it (which they probably don't), and it was given to you.. guess what would happen? You'd get the flu, it'd suck, you'd get over it. End of story.

Go, have fun. Just keep your hands washed.

Remember that flu incubates for about 2 weeks, so once you're gone from NY don't slack off on the safety … keep your hands washed and remember you could be carrying the virus even if you're not sick yet… so don't go breathing on old people for a while.

The human-to-human strain isn't that bad. Be aware that you could contract it, be aware that you can carry it long before showing symptoms (that's how it spreads so easily), and maintain basic cleanliness. If you have symptoms, go to a doctor.

Just replace the word dot, after party, and between net, with a dot (period) full stop.
Its a You Tube thang, that wont allow the actual web address to be posted???
And, for some more strange things to do, you need to close the space between the 2 and the 80 in the last three digits.

It's not really different from the "regular flu". And yes, some people are majorly overreacting.

The media is often creating unnecessary panic in gullible people by focusing on a variety of diseases that turn out to be no big deal. Anyone remember West Nile Virus? SARS? Bird flu? If you hardly do it's because not much ever came of any of those things. Take a clue, people.

no, dude the swine flu is real it's already killed approx. 145 people in mexico and is spreading across the world as we speak.
Besides spending money on the health industry wouldn't be a great boost in the economy since the health sector of the USA is one of the few HEALTHY parts of the economy which is still growing even in this recession. Now if the flu somehow made people buy houses and cars out of some weird panic or something now that's when i would start to think the governments behind it haha.

Hey, if you're feeling like this i would advice you to call your doctor to your house and let him see what's wrong with you.

Make sure you cover your mouth when sneezing or coughing.
WASH your hands ALWAYS after the toilet even if you pee!

I hope its not swine flu and i hope you best luck.

Oi you people need to get a lesson on how infectious disease works,

pig carries virus aka a vector… people living in close proximity to pigs pick up virus and becomes the new host and as people come into contact with one another the virus gets passed along. How did people in 3 unrelated countries get it, well they came into contact with the virus… its pretty simple and unfortunately pandemics are a natural occurrence…also flu viruses mutate all the time, the flu vaccine given each years is always based on the previous years strain which is usually not the same as the strain going around…

1-5 days. Don't worry, you probably just have a cold. If you had swine flu, you would have felt sick sooner.

Well the only way to tell whether you have swine flu or the regular flu is by testing. The doctor will perform 2 tests they may be both nose swabs in which the doctor will take a giant Q-tip like thing and stuff it up your nose. Or they will take a throat swab culture in which the doctor will take the Q-Tip like items and swab the Very back of your mouth causing you to gag.

I'm just guessing, but I read a book on the Spanish Flu and I would think the following would happen.

Stadiums would close. No rock concerts or sporting events. No parades or other events where large amounts of people gather. Churches and movie theatres included. Postpone that wedding.

No air travel or cruise ship travel. Restaurants would be drive thru only. Taking the bus and subway would be discouraged or you would have to wear a mask.

Schools and Colleges would close. People would be encouraged to work from home if they can.

People will be told to keep pets inside and not have them roam around the neighbourhood. Some people will panic and abandon their pets for no reason.

Trade between countries will slow to a trickle. The hotels will be empty.

I don't think it will get to phase 6

It is supposed that this is a beta test, for sure this disease is man-made to what end we don't know (That is unless you believe that Asian swine flu, European swine flu, US swine flu, avian flu and human influenza somehow combined and infected a small rural town in Mexico). The thing you must always bear in mind in cases like this is Who Benefits? Research it, of course the Illuminati "don't exist" do they? And for those sceptics out there I propose to you, no one ever died from stockpiling food and water.
(Hmm look Rumsfeld has stock in Tamiflu, interesting…)

Hey don't worry its just like the flu its not that bad my boss had it like three weeks ago and he recovered and my bro works at the hospital were they have 8 cases and only one person had to be hospitalized because that person was of old age, I really don't know why there dieing in Mexico maybe it isn't true. most Mexicans in Mexico are ignorant they use stupid Mexican remedies for the flu and i know I'm Mexican American with family down there and they don't know about Tylenol extra strength which lowers the deadly fever of a flu . may I add they do have really good doctors. all i know is im washing my hands cuz i dont want to miss 1 weeks worth of work or school! and if you do get it get rest go to your doctor and keep hydrated its just a flu the good part is that if you do get it you will be immune to bird flu and other crazy flus' worry if old

There aren't any differences in fact the seasonal flu is more dangerous than the swine flu, it kills 36,000 people in the US alone. But the view of swine flu as a dangerous flu is because of many reasons including almost all the people it killed are young healthy youth and the higher chances of the virus mutation which can lead to something more deadly like the spanish flu which killed like millions of people.

start to improve your health eat 1-6 cloves of fresh choped garlic a day. sprinkle ground cinnamon on your cereal.

Fresh garlic is the best natural antibiotic you can get.iv had abscess teeth for 15 years and IM still here.with garlic my colds usually last 1-2 days or less.

drink lemon juice 1-2 teaspoons in 8 ounces of water [distilled] preferably.vinegar works the same but taste nasty.

start slow on the garlic because your stomach isn't use to it.cut the clove in to small slices and scoop it onto a spoon and swish it down with a drink of water.if it burns to much drink a few mouth fulls of milk to cut the burn.

iv done around 3 cloves of garlic for 6 years now
