The mind—body—spirit debate has developed into a well known researched fact over the past decade. While there has always been some amount of contribution given to the mindset of any patient, only recently has the concept of caring for the “entire self” become a common practice in today’s modern medicine and prevention programs. Mind—body—spirit wellness has reached new levels of inclusive factors for today’s health conscious individuals. Holistic health has finally reached acceptance in many offices of doctors and practitioners of medicine.
The power of caring for one’s entire body is really quite impressively powerful. Individuals who have opted for total mind—body—spirit wellness have been able to determine great levels of health and energy within their own framework by allowing their entire being into account. Studies on the power of the mind have shown some shocking results, the effects have been proven to be of course, mind—blowing.
Holistic health is essential in providing high quality total care for your self, your family, and your overall well being. Studies have proven that holistic health practices have dramatically reduced the number and frequency of illnesses related to common every day exposure. School children living in mind—body—spirit wellness focused homes miss less than half of the school days due to illness than that of their classmates still living in traditional Western medicine focused homes.
Accounts of real world individuals being able to provide testimony to the effects of holistic health practices on their daily lives are continuously increasing. Many individuals offer that the mind—body—spirit wellness approach to life has given them not only their physical health back, but their emotional health as well. For those who place more emphasis on the testimony of physicians and health care practitioners, there are an increasing number of offices that practice mind—body—spirit wellness as part of their routine care.
Holistic health and the mind—body—spirit wellness approach to life has also opened up a while new industry for the entrepreneurial spirit. Many manufacturers feel that it has been nothing short of a blessing to fully endorse their product without doubting the word of their advertisers. There is a vast and endless ocean of new and improved products which adhere to holistic health practices and principles which have emerged onto the market as of late, and for the most part, these products actually do what they say they are going to do. Of course, we wouldn’t be an enterprising society if a few unscrupulous manufacturers didn’t sneak in there for their piece of this multi billion dollar industry. Our culture responded appropriately by deeming specific authorities on the topic to be the final word in quality and effectiveness.
By developing institutes that focus completely on mind—body—spirit wellness and awareness, there has been a successful and remarkable overhaul in the basic integrity of holistic health materials and products. While of course there are still some scam factories out there, the vast majority of holistic health companies want to be part of this ever growing, popular, and health enhancing trend that is changing the lives and souls of everyone involved.
Holistic health products that are able to make claims of providing “miracle” results are generally not considered to be authentic products endorsed or even recognized by any authority of holistic health practices. Rather, while there have been case reports regarding “miraculous results” on an individual basis, the mind—body—spirit wellness community does not promote grand promises but instruction, focus, and of course, directives that help individuals enhance their mind—body—spirit connection. Very few products on the holistic health market today receive genuine endorsements or “approval” from these authorities. Those that do have not only been proven to deliver what they promise, but also meet a strict standard of what constitutes and actual holistic health product.
As the mind—body—spirit wellness and awareness movement grows and matures over the next few years, there is bound to be growth in numerous areas of product development. What has reached the market now can be considered to be some remarkable enhancements in the holistic health practice. In fact, there have been a few products which not only earn the endorsement of leading authorities, but actually are not expected to be able to be produced better than they are right now. This is a pretty bold statement considering that technology and education will never be static yet those few products out there that are being praised and sung by the leading authorities have literally taken the holistic health product market by storm.
Our society will most likely continue the never ending search for powerful new health remedies and holistic health products which enhance the mind—body—spirit wellness experience with great enthusiasm and vigor over the next ten years. After all, what is considered a relatively new phenomenon in this country has been considered to be tradition in other societies for centuries. There is a wealth of knowledge waiting for us to uncover as time goes by.
The mind—body—spirit wellness movement and the holistic health practices that are now finally being viewed as medical advancements will continue to offer our society a new way of looking at health, not to mention a vast assortment of new health treatments. This can only be considered to be good news for those who suffer from chronic conditions, serious health problems and illnesses, or the healthy who wish to remain that way.

Medical Coding, Medical records, Medical consulting, Medical billing
It is the most pleasant and soothing job on the market. Get Faye Brown's coding book on Amazon.com and do some of the ICD 9 and CPT 4 codes and see if it is for you.
I do tax returns for them and they can make $67,000 a year easily

There are many options you can go with an AS in HIT:
First of all after achieving an associates degree, you will want to get the following credentials. There are more, but start off with these two.
RHIT – Registered Health Information Technician
CCS – Certified Coding Specialist
One of them is Medical Coding which is the classificiation of diseases into numeric codes that are grouped together to determine reimbursement into a healthcare facility. In other words…certified medical coders determine how much money comes in. With experience one can be a consultant or even work from their home office.
However I teach my students to work outside the box. Aside from medical coding and medical records management. One of the emerging trends is the electronic medical record. Companies are are looking for inidividuals who can help physician offices and healthcare facilities transition from "paper to paperless".

Everyone is different. I know of someone who didn’t lose any inches until after 2 weeks, and her friends are now buying OsoLean through her, because of her results are noticeable.

Right now, both the USA and Canada are seriously investigating converting all patient health information from paper records to digital storage and making it available through the internet. This would have a tremendous impact on reducing health care costs and saving more lives. Click on the source link below for more information.

That’s weird. I lost 2 in. around my waist in 5 days so far. Are you reducing caloric intake? I drink a Glycoslim drink for breakfast, I don’t eat any starches, and I rarely eat meat.

Health care today is too dependant on technology. Doctors, nurses, dentists, etc, are using too much technology that sometimes they forget the basic and fundamental of the practice.
However, technology is very useful and almost a must. Blood test cn help diagnose such things as diabetes and thyroid problem and cholesterol problem long before it shows up clinically. Xray such as mammogram save thousands of lives yearly, as well as Pap Smear. CAT scan and MRI and PET scans allow us to see our body and make diagnoses without even having to open up patients. Fibroptic technology bring a new dimension to the medical world, as we can save lives with colonoscopy or do surgery with very small cuts. Laser technology is also impressive, helping with everything from surgery to tattoo removal. There are many more technology – you ask and somebody either has been there/done that or are studying to get it implemented.
The other aspect of technology in health care is electronic medical record, in which patient's charts, lab reports, and even Xray can be stored digitally. Instead of having a cardiac catherization in film like 10 years ago, now the cardiac cath is on CD's and DVD's. They allow easier access to medical record, more legible record, and easier search for data-base.
Without technology, countlessly many lives will be lost.

In Therory, the use of technology in the day to day operations of health care and human service agencies will provide faster responce time to those in need, more of and a better quality of services provided, less paperwork needed to be filled out by workers, which in turn will increase work load with the need for fewer workers, which will help cut cost of services.

When they launched Osolean in the US, we thought we had a 6 month supply of orders, but instead, sold out all 6 months in 9 days! They sent us all a free product of 40 dollar value (called BounceBack tm) and free shipping for the Osolean for the delay. I’m excited for you because of the opening of Singapore, the market for wellness is excellent because they are very health conscious.

Watch all of my episodes and you will see that I went down to my target size in 16 weeks. I did not reduce calorie intake. Because, I am a stunt woman and need the protein and calories for what I do. Even though I lost inches and appear skinny, my BMI is that of an athlete and weigh more than most people my age, size, and height. I am so happy with my results with OsoLean, and now my agent is on it.

You should consider a Masters in Health Information Mgt. from the College of St. Scholastica (Minnesota), its a online degree and while the college itself is not Harvard…. their HIM program is the absolute best in the field..in the nation. Very respectable program. The University of Pittsburgh also has a Masters HIM program but it is on-campus. These are the only two accredited programs in the world! They also have certificate programs but in order to become a registered HIM professional you have to go to an accredited program and complete it in full. Visit http://www.ahima.com they have a link to education there. For more info on HIM visit http://www.himss.com .
Good luck

Allied Health professions are clinical in nature and support, aid, and increase the efficiency of physicians, dentists, clinical specialists, etc..
Health Information Technology is the use of information and communication technology in health care. May include electronic health records, clinical alerts, and computerized decision support systems, just to name a few.

I work in Health IT and although it may not hurt you, it may be a big problem. The reason is within HIT, you have access to a lot of patient and doctor information. You could have access to billing and payroll information for those medical personnel. All this is outside of the medical offices. Within the medical offices, Hep B may be an issue as I doubt they want to take chances spreading it.
Again, it is not a total loss, especially if you can prove to them that you're so good, they have to let you in even if they have their issues.
